Scientific interests: calorimetry of cement and concrete, thermokinetic analysis of hydration processes of binders and concrete.

He substantiated a new scientific direction - the thermokinetics of hydration reactions, and for the first time classified hardening processes according to quantitative characteristics - the rate and completeness of heat release.

Winner of the award named after. Kurnakov of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1985) for a series of works “Thermodynamic and thermokinetic foundations of building materials science”.

Author of 7 monographs, 300 scientific publications, 10 patents for inventions.
